In Vilnius historical Old Town, reflecting about the position and expression of the new building, modern time period is reflected as well as fluctuating worthy courses. Also, natural situation is appreciative where the river of Neris flowing by the street and its mirror-images naturally keep a conceptual discourse.
The same monotonous visually, but different conceptually, building is introduced in a monotonous décor of Žygimantai Street, in the remaining free space. New building is obtained as if cloning and multiplying two more times the building present by the crossing. An important moment is reading of new bulk which is reverse to the usual one – it is upturned.
Under the suspended and upturned poster new/old public space of the city is created/is left. Visual archetypical chimneys serve as vertical connections for the building and public purpose, i.e., also for passing onto the plane panoramic sprouted roof. In the colouring of fluid pink-greenish street buildings, a new building is distinguished by rich red colouring and illumination giving an accent to the movement and transformation.
Thus, there is a new building and there are 2 new attractive public spaces for the citizens and the relation between the old and the new.
